Hans-Christoph Diener, MD, PhD is Professor of Clinical Neurosciences at the Medical Faculty of the University Duisburg-Essen. He was Chairman of the Department of Neurology at the University of Essen from 1989 to April 2016. He was President of the German Neurological Society (2003-2004), the European Headache Federation (2006-2008) and the International Headache Society (2009-2011).
